Alfaro Breeze Block - Openwork Concrete Block with Oval Pattern

Alfaro Breeze Block: light, air and design in a single block

The Alfaro Breeze Block is an openwork piece made of white concrete with a pattern of oval openings. Stacked piece by piece, it forms an enclosure that filters views without shutting out light or air, with a relief that changes with the sun throughout the day. It is made in 3 thicknesses: the 20 cm format is a block for building openwork walls, and the 6 and 9 cm ones are screen pieces for lightweight enclosures and openwork cladding.

✅ Key advantages

  • Privacy with ventilation: blocks direct views while keeping air circulating.
  • Repeating pattern: the oval motif creates a continuous lattice when the pieces are laid together.
  • Concrete for outdoors: precast concrete, unpainted and untreated, for permanent outdoor use.
  • Simple to calculate: 12.5 pieces per m² of visible face (20 × 40 cm).
  • Unit or pallet: buy only the pieces you need or the full pallet for site work.

🏗️ Recommended uses

  • Openwork plot enclosures and boundary fencing
  • Openwork enclosure walls (thick format)
  • Dividers for terraces, courtyards and porches
  • Façade screens and drying areas
  • Openwork coping on low walls
  • Communal areas and gardens that need light shade

💡 Pro tip: set out the first course dry to square the joints with the pillars or ends, and bed the pieces in mortar keeping the joint constant so the pattern stays aligned. For tall enclosures or those exposed to wind, reinforce intermediate pillars.

Frequently Asked Questions
