Many large-format pavements have steel reinforcement inside, and over the years that reinforcement rusts and brings brown stains to the surface that never go away. This slab is made without reinforcement, using high-performance HPC concrete, with selected natural aggregates and latest-generation additives, so that problem simply doesn't exist.

🧰 Installation
Prepare a 20 cm compacted crushed-gravel base; a 1 m² piece can't tolerate soft spots.
Spread a 4-5 cm mortar bed and screed it with guide rails.
Handle each slab with a suction lifter or with several people: it's heavy and large.
Set the piece down in one go, without dragging it across the bed.
Check the level with a long straightedge along both diagonals before moving to the next one.
Grout with joint mortar and clean the surface while still fresh.

💡 Professional tip: with a 1 m² piece there's no correcting it afterwards: if you set it down high, you can't tap it into place like a 40 cm tile because it will crack. Screed the mortar bed perfectly level and lower the slab straight down in one motion. If it doesn't sit level, lift the whole piece, fix the bed, and lower it again.
