Short-sleeve microfibre healthcare scrub top
Velilla 535207 microfiber scrub top: the top half, in short sleeves
The microfiber top from the Velilla scrub set. 140 g/m² fabric with antibacterial and liquid-repellent treatment, V-neck and short sleeves. This is a single piece: the price is for the top only, not the full scrub set. The matching trousers, in the same fabric and the same eleven colors, are reference 533007.
✅ Features
- V-neck: goes on and off over the head without messing up or catching your hair, and leaves the stethoscope area free.
- Short sleeves: the standard in healthcare, since the hand hygiene protocol requires forearms to be bare below the elbow.
- Antibacterial treatment: slows bacterial growth between washes and reduces odor at the end of a long shift.
- Liquid-repellent: water-based splashes roll off instead of soaking in immediately.
- Two lower patch pockets: for your ward notebook, phone or pen.
- Just 140 g/m²: the lightest top in the range, ideal for warm wards and for summer.
👷 What jobs it is for

💡 Tip: The microfiber top and trousers are sold separately on purpose, and it pays to take advantage of that: in most teams the top size and the bottom size don't match. Buy the top by chest measurement and the trousers by hip measurement, instead of ordering the same letter for both pieces. It is the number one cause of size exchanges in uniform orders.
Frequently asked questions
What finishes does the 535207 microfiber top have?
It is made of 140 g/m² microfiber with antibacterial and liquid-repellent treatment, plus a V-neck and short sleeves.
Are the trousers included?
No. It is a single piece and the price is for the top only. The matching trousers, in the same fabric and colors, are reference 533007.
What colors and sizes are available?
There are eleven colors: black, white, emerald green, bay sky blue, mustard, mint, Persian blue, bougainvillea, ocean blue, strawberry pink and tangerine. The sizes are XS, S, M, L, XL, 2XL and 3XL.
How should it be cared for to keep the finish?
Wash it at 60 degrees, without fabric softener, which cancels the repellent finish, and without chlorine bleach. It dries very quickly and is ironed at low temperature.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are the trousers included?
No. The 535207 is the top only. The matching trousers, in microfibre and in the same eleven colours, are reference 533007.
Why is it short-sleeved, and why is there no long-sleeve version in this fabric?
Because in healthcare, hand hygiene protocols require forearms to be bare below the elbow. Long sleeves are reserved for gowns that are taken off when washing hands.
Does the antibacterial treatment wear off with washing?
It degrades gradually, and much faster if fabric softener or bleach is used. Washed at 60 °C with normal detergent and no fabric softener, it lasts the usual service life of the garment.
Can it withstand industrial washing at 90 degrees?
The manufacturer specifies 60 °C. At 90 °C the fibre holds up, but the antibacterial and repellent finishes are lost much sooner.
Can it be sterilised in an autoclave?
No. Polyester microfibre is not approved for autoclaving. Specific sterile garments are used in operating theatres.
What size should I order?
The top is chosen by chest measurement. Do not assume it matches your trouser size: that is why they are sold separately.
Is it suitable for beauty or veterinary work?
Yes. It is a standard healthcare and services garment; the eleven-colour palette is exactly what veterinary clinics, beauty centres and spas look for to stand out from hospital white.
