If the water from your wall shouldn't fall on the other side, you need a single slope; and if the wall is long, every extra joint is another spot where water will seep through. This piece solves both: it drains entirely to one side and measures a full metre, halving the joints. With a built-in drip edge and high-performance concrete.

🧰 Installation

  1. Mark on the wall which side the water should drain to before you start.
  2. Even out and level the top of the wall; with 1-metre pieces, any unevenness stands out a lot.
  3. Spread flexible bonding mortar over the entire bearing surface.
  4. Position the piece with two people, holding it by the ends.
  5. Check all pieces drain in the same direction before pointing.
  6. Leave a 3-5 mm joint, point it with elastic mortar and clean while fresh.

💡 Professional tip: check that the piece's slope doesn't drain back against the wall itself when the wall isn't perfectly vertical. On a wall with a slight lean, a 2.5 cm slope over a 30 cm width can fall short, and the water ends up running down the wrong face. If the wall isn't plumb, add slope by shimming the piece with the bonding mortar.
