Cáseda Paver - Elongated-Format Concrete Paver

Cáseda Paver: the elongated format that streamlines any path

The elongated 12 × 24 layout creates running bond and herringbone patterns that make any paved area look longer. The Cáseda Paver is a single-layer concrete paver measuring 5.5 × 12 × 24 cm, available in four soft colors and designed for paths, patios and pedestrian areas with a Mediterranean style.

✅ Main advantages

  • Slim 12 × 24 format: running bond, herringbone or parquet patterns, with about 35 pieces per m².
  • Four soft colors: Blanco, Crema, Gris and Salmón, easy to combine with each other and with the façade.
  • 5.5 cm thick: suitable for heavy pedestrian use and occasional light vehicle traffic over a well-compacted base.
  • Dry installation: laid on a sand bed, with joints that drain and allow repairs piece by piece.
  • Full pallet, better value: 360 units (≈ 10.4 m²) with a lower price per piece.

🏗️ Recommended applications

  • Garden paths and walkways
  • Patios and terraces
  • Perimeter pavements
  • Borders and herringbone patterns combining colors

📋 Technical specifications

  • Material: vibro-pressed single-layer concrete
  • Dimensions: 5.5 × 12 × 24 cm
  • Weight per piece: 3 kg
  • Pieces per m²: ≈ 35
  • Pack: 10 units (≈ 0.29 m²)
  • Pallet: 360 units = 10.4 m² (≈ 1,105 kg)
  • Colors: Blanco, Crema, Gris and Salmón
  • Use: outdoor, pedestrian and occasional light vehicles

🧰 Installation

  1. Excavate and compact 10–15 cm of crushed stone sub-base.
  2. Confine the perimeter with a curb or edging.
  3. Spread a level sand bed 3–4 cm thick.
  4. Lay in a running bond or herringbone pattern, mixing pieces from several pallets if you are combining colors.
  5. Compact with a protected plate compactor and sweep fine sand into the joints.

💡 Professional tip: the 45° herringbone pattern distributes loads best and shifts the least over time; keep the straight pattern for purely pedestrian areas and add 5% extra pieces for cuts.

Frequently Asked Questions

¿Qué aparejo me recomiendas?
