Unisex long-sleeve button-up lab coat

Velilla 539004 unisex lab coat: the staff-issue coat, in nine sizes

The basic unisex white coat, in 180 g/m² twill of 80% polyester and 20% cotton. Its strong point is not the cut but the size coverage: nine sizes, from 2XS to 4XL, the widest range in the lab coat catalogue. It is the reference you buy when you need to kit out an entire workforce, cover visitors and suppliers, or keep a stock of coats that will fit anyone.

✅ Features

  • Nine sizes, from 2XS to 4XL: covers everything from very small to very large builds with a single reference. For a fifty-person issue, that means leaving no one out.
  • Unisex cut: not fitted, it suits men and women alike. If you are looking for a specific pattern, see the men's 539001 or the women's 539002.

💡 Tip: For visitor coats, order one or two sizes above the wearer's size. A visitor coat is worn over a coat, jacket or jumper, not over a T-shirt, and a tight coat will not close or will pop a button at the first inspection. With nine sizes available, keeping two or three units in L, XL and 2XL hanging at reception covers practically any visit.

Frequently Asked Questions

What size should I order for visitor coats?

One or two sizes above the wearer's size. A visitor coat is worn over a coat or jumper, not over a T-shirt, and a tight coat will not close. Keeping several units in L, XL and 2XL at reception covers almost any visit.

How does it differ from the 539001 and the 539002?

Those have a specific men's and women's pattern, a semi-fitted cut and 210 g/m². This one is unisex and not fitted, lighter (180 g/m²) and more affordable, but with nine sizes instead of six.

Why does it come in so many sizes?

Because it is designed as a staff-issue coat: it covers everything from 2XS to 4XL so that no one is left out in a large workforce.

Can it withstand industrial washing at 90 degrees?

The manufacturer specifies 60 °C. As it has no elastane or finishes, it tolerates the industrial cycle well, but the white suffers above that temperature.

Can it be sterilised in an autoclave?

No. The polyester-cotton blend is not approved for autoclaving.

Does it crease much?

Very little. With 80% polyester it dries quickly and needs hardly any ironing; if you iron it, use a low temperature.

Can I use bleach?

No. Chlorine yellows white polyester irreversibly.
