Ábalos Block - Split-face facing block for fencing

Ábalos Block: fencing with a split-stone face

The split finish is achieved by splitting the block: each piece ends up with a rough, irregular face, like stone masonry. The Ábalos Block is a split-face facing block made of water-repellent, through-colored concrete, available in 15 and 20 cm widths with matching half blocks, for fences and enclosures with character.

✅ Main advantages

  • Stone-effect split face: irregular split texture: no two blocks are alike.
  • Water-repellent and through-colored: no rendering, no painting, no repainting.
  • Two widths with half blocks: 20 and 15 cm, running bond laying without cutting; half block with 2 split faces for ends.
  • Five colors: Arena, Blanco Macael, Crema, Gris and Salmón.
  • Complete system: corners, bond beam blocks, end block and matching split tile (sold separately).

🏗️ Recommended applications

  • Plot fences and enclosures
  • Exposed walls for villas and residential developments
  • Stone-look plinths and pillars

🧰 Installation

  1. Start on a leveled footing or slab.
  2. Build up in courses in running bond with mortar, keeping the joints clean.
  3. Reinforce and fill solid as per calculations, using the matching bond beam blocks.
  4. Finish the top with a coping or a sill.

💡 Professional tip: mix blocks from two or three pallets as you build: the split texture varies from one production run to another, and mixing pieces spreads the nuances across the whole wall.

Frequently Asked Questions
