Albelda Corbel - Traditional Carved Decorative Concrete Beam
Albelda Corbel: the classic Castilian carving, woodworm-free
Some corbel profiles have been supporting eaves in villages for centuries. The Albelda Corbel brings back that traditionally carved beam end in concrete with the texture and colour of Oregon wood, with an 11 × 15 cm section: all the character of old-style carpentry without the upkeep.
✅ Main benefits
Traditional carving: the classic profile of Castilian eaves, with pronounced wood grain.
Zero maintenance: no woodworm, no termites, no rot, no periodic varnishing.
Two lengths: 100 and 120 cm, to adjust the overhang without cutting.
Generous 11 × 15 cm section: the presence of an authentic beam when seen from the street.
Solid, water-repellent piece: suitable for permanent outdoor use, rain and frost.

🧰 Installation
Mark out the spacing between corbels, 60 to 90 cm between centres.
Mark the bearing: the hidden part is embedded in or rests on the wall.
Set the piece with high-strength mortar or a chemical anchor with a rod.
Prop it up until it has set and check the level and overhang.
💡 Professional tip: when restoring, remove only the damaged wooden corbels and replace them one by one: the Oregon tone blends well with aged wood and the façade keeps its original look.
Frequently Asked Questions
