🧺 Care
Always follow the label: on a category III PPE garment, the washing cycle is part of the certification. Washing outside the instructions can invalidate the protection.
No fabric softener: it leaves a film on the fibre that impairs both antistatic and flame-retardant performance.
No bleach or chlorine-based stain removers: they attack the cotton treatment.
Inspect before each use: a tear, a burn or an open seam puts the garment out of service.
💡 Tip: two-piece or coverall is a risk decision, not a comfort one. The 606003 jacket with the 603003 trousers leaves a join at the waist where a spark can get in when working overhead; for that, the one-piece 602003 coverall is safer. The two-piece set wins when you go in and out of the hot zone several times a day. And in both cases: no certification against electric arc (IEC 61482).
