Reversible high-visibility padded gilet

Velilla 148 reversible high-visibility padded gilet: two garments in one

A warm gilet on one side and a hi-vis gilet on the other. Turn it inside out and you go from the discreet navy blue garment to the high-visibility side certified to EN ISO 20471 class 1, without carrying two garments in the van. Even the zip has a reversible slider.

✅ Features

  • Truly reversible: front zip with reversible slider, so the garment fastens properly on both sides.
  • EN ISO 20471 class 1 certification: the level of the standard for slow-moving traffic and controlled circulation.
  • 220 g/m² padding: polyester filling that keeps you warm without restricting arm movement.
  • Six pockets: the capacity of a technical jacket in gilet format.
  • Windproof sides and elasticated waist: they close off air entry at the sides.
  • Reflective tapes on the torso on the high-visibility side.

👷 Suitable for

  • Logistics and loading docks in winter.
  • Maintenance and construction in signposted areas.
  • Delivery and mixed indoor-outdoor work.
  • Unheated workshops and industrial buildings.
  • Staff who alternate technical tasks and customer contact.

🧺 Care

  • Follow the sewn-in label: the manufacturer's data sheet does not publish the washing table.
  • Count the washes: EN ISO 20471 requires the label to show the maximum number of cycles the certification withstands.
  • Drying the padding: the polyester filling needs to dry completely before storage, otherwise it loses volume and, with it, its ability to keep you warm.

💡 Tip: Be careful with reversibles: only one of the two sides is certified. If you wear it inside out, with the navy blue facing outwards, you are not wearing high-visibility PPE, you are wearing a warm gilet. As soon as you enter a traffic area, turn it round. And remember that even on the right side it is class 1: it is not valid for open roads.
