Long-sleeve microfibre chef jacket with Coolmax back
Long-sleeve microfibre chef jacket with Coolmax® back: protected arms, ventilated back
100% polyester microfibre of 150 g/m², antibacterial and liquid-repellent, with a full back panel in Coolmax® fabric. The long sleeve shields the forearm from splashes, and the technical back offsets the extra heat that sleeve adds.
✅ Features
One-piece Coolmax® back: wicks sweat outwards exactly where most of it is produced.
Liquid-repellent: stocks and oils run off instead of soaking into the fabric.
Antibacterial treatment: controls odour during long shifts.
Asymmetric front closure with concealed press studs: no visible buttons and quick opening.
Tailored long sleeve with rounded cuff opening.
Patch pocket on the left sleeve with two compartments.
👷 Suitable for
Hot section, fryer and grill
Open kitchens and show cooking
Catering, banquets and long shifts
Hotels and central kitchens

🧺 Care
No fabric softener: it would clog the microfibre and cancel out repellency and breathability.
No bleach: it degrades the antibacterial finish.
No hot tumble drying or hot ironing on the microfibre.
💡 Tip: if your kitchen uses an external laundry service, tell them these garments must be washed without softener and without bleach. It is the costliest mistake with technical microfibre: after three standard washes it loses its repellency and the Coolmax® stops working.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does it differ from 405209?
405209 is the same microfibre jacket with Coolmax back, but with short sleeves.
Can I use fabric softener?
No. It seals the microfibre and cancels out the liquid repellency and the sweat wicking of the Coolmax.
What about bleach?
Not that either. It degrades the antibacterial finish.
Is it suitable for external laundry services?
Yes, but you must tell them explicitly that it is washed without softener and without bleach.
Is it waterproof?
No, it is repellent: liquids run off, but it is not a waterproof garment.
Why long sleeves in a hot kitchen?
Because they protect the forearm from splashes. The Coolmax back offsets the added heat.
