The 190 g/m² 65/35 blend withstands frequent high-temperature washing.
White can take diluted bleach on grease stains; black cannot.
Barely needs ironing if hung up straight after spinning.
💡 Tip: compare fabric weights before buying: 112 g/m² (405201), 175 (405205) and 190 (this one). In the kitchen, fabric weight means thermal protection against splashes and service life against washing. For a brigade that washes daily, 190 g/m² works out cheaper in the long run, even if the unit price is higher.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does it differ from 405201?
405201 is 112 g/m² poplin, much thinner. This one is 190 g/m² twill, with much more body and protection.
And from 405224?
405224 is the same jacket with long sleeves.
What is the Soft Touch finish?
A treatment that softens the feel so that a heavy twill doesn't feel stiff when new.
How many pockets does it have?
Two: a patch pocket on the chest and another on the left sleeve with a utensil compartment.
Can bleach be used?
On white, diluted and applied locally. On black, no.
Is it worth paying more for 190 g/m²?
For a brigade that washes daily, yes: the higher fabric weight extends service life under repeated washing.
