🧰 Installation
Remove the topsoil and compact 8–10 cm of crushed stone base or gravel.
Edge the perimeter if the paved area is continuous.
Spread a level 3 cm bed of sand.
Lay the slabs butt-jointed or with open joints seeded with grass.
Settle them with a rubber mallet and fill the joints with fine sand.
💡 Pro tip: for a Japanese-style stepping-stone path across a lawn, bury each slab with its face 1 cm below the level of the grass: the lawnmower will pass over without catching and the path will maintain itself.
