🧺 Care
Machine washable; close the hook-and-loop fastenings before washing.
Do not iron over the heat-sealed tape: heat makes it peel off.
No chlorine bleach: it dulls the fluorescent background.
Avoid drying at very high temperatures: it damages the elastane.
Retire the garment if the tape lifts or the fluorescent colour fades.
💡 Tip: these are the trousers to choose when the specification requires class 2 on the lower body as well. Even so, they are still not class 3: the usual combination for night-time road work is these class 2 trousers plus a high-visibility jacket or parka, and it's the outfit as a whole that is assessed. Never assume the class from how fluorescent the trousers look.
