Horizontal courses in a staggered (running bond) pattern, with the grain always running in the same direction.
Narrow joint in a brown tone or butt-jointed for a paneling effect.
💡 Professional tip: install it butt-jointed and horizontally and you'll achieve the effect of solid wood paneling; with a visible joint in an earth tone, the wall reads as more rustic. Decide on the style before sticking down the first box.
