Sika LANKO® Flexible – Flexible cement adhesive for ceramics

Sika LANKO® Flexible is a high-performance flexible cement adhesive, specially designed for the installation of all types of ceramic coverings both on floors and vertical surfaces, in interior and exterior. It stands out for its high adhesion, excellent workability, and performance under demanding conditions.

Classified as C2TES1 according to EN 12004-2, it guarantees a secure bond even in complex applications or on difficult substrates.

• Double bonding on exterior vertical coverings for pieces > 1,600 cm²

• Density of fresh mortar (at +20 ºC): ~1.6 kg/l

• Mixing ratio: 7.50 – 8.25 L of water per bag (30 – 33 %)

• Open time: ~30 minutes at +20 °C

Indicative consumption

Consumption will depend on the substrate, the size of the piece, and the installation technique:

• Single bonding: ± 3 kg/m²

• Double bonding: ± 5 kg/m²

Preparation and mixing

Mix the product with clean water for a minimum of 3 minutes using a low-speed electric mixer (< 500 rpm).
Let the mixture rest for 5 minutes, remix for 15 seconds, and the product will be ready for application.

Do not use a concrete mixer.

Application

Apply LANKO® Flexible with a notched trowel on the substrate, selecting the appropriate tooth size according to the ceramic piece and the required thickness.
Spread a uniform layer over small surfaces, adjust with the notched trowel, and place the ceramic piece by pressing and moving perpendicular to the grooves to ensure proper adhesive transfer.

Tool cleaning

Tools and equipment must be cleaned with water immediately after use.
Hardened product can only be removed by mechanical means.
