Three-phase belt-driven compressor 270 L - 5.5 HP, 11 bar and double stage

Three-phase 270-liter two-stage compressor

Two-stage compression is what separates an industrial compressor from a workshop one. Instead of compressing the air all at once to the final pressure, it does it in two steps: a large cylinder raises the air to intermediate pressure, it cools along the way, and a second, smaller cylinder finishes it off up to 11 bar.

The result is that the air comes out much cooler, the head suffers less, and efficiency per kilowatt consumed is noticeably better. That is why all compressors designed to operate daily for years are two-stage. This one uses 5.5 HP three-phase, delivers 550 L/min, and rests on a 270-liter tank.

✅ Main advantages

  • Two-stage compression: less temperature, better performance, longer life.
  • 11 bar pressure for demanding installations.
  • 550 L/min of sustained airflow.
  • 270-liter tank: industrial-level reserve.
  • 5.5 HP three-phase motor: smooth startup and efficient consumption.

🏗️ What it is for

  • Compressed-air installations in industrial warehouses.
  • Bodywork and paint shops with several workstations.
  • Continuous-duty pneumatic tools.
  • Production lines and pneumatic tooling.

💡 Professional tip: in a two-stage compressor, check the intercooler tube —the one that connects the two finned cylinders—. It fills with dust and dirt, stops dissipating heat, and then the second cylinder receives hot air: consumption goes up, the oil carbonizes, and the valves start to fail. A thorough blow-out every three months solves it.
