A concrete bench is chosen by three things: how many people need to sit, what style the space calls for and how heavy the piece you will receive is. What to check before choosing a concrete bench

Length and seats. The sheets describe two generous seats at 160 cm and three seats on the 190 and 200 cm benches; the 230 cm bench is described with four seats.
Weight. It ranges from 180 to 545 kg. A heavy bench cannot be moved without machinery; a lighter one is easier to reposition. Think about how it will arrive, too: the sheets state delivery on a pallet and, for the heaviest, unloading with mechanical means.
Style. Carved legs for classic gardens, straight lines for contemporary settings, a curved backrest for design spaces.
Use. All are made of moulded concrete in white and are intended for outdoor use, in a private garden as well as in a public space.

Classic benches with carved legs

These are the most recognisable: a solid seat and ornamented legs.

The Soto bench measures 225 × 50 × 45 cm and weighs 340 kg; its sheet describes seating for four people.
The Brieva bench (200 × 50 × 45 cm, 300 kg) and the Almarza bench (200 × 50 × 45 cm, 315 kg, ornamented legs) offer three seats.
The Canales bench (160 × 50 × 47 cm, 290 kg) is the compact format with a sober line, for porches and patios.

Benches with contemporary and minimalist lines

The Villoslada bench measures 190 × 50 × 53 cm and is the lightest of the nine at 180 kg: its sheet suggests it for terraces, residential communities and businesses where you may want to move it around. The Lumbreras bench is a clean beam of 230 × 35 × 55 cm and 340 kg; at 55 cm high, its sheet notes that it also works as a seating wall, and that several in a row mark out a route.

Design benches with a backrest

The Mansilla bench (wraparound backrest) and the Viniegra bench (continuous curved lines) share the same size, 190 × 72 × 90 cm, and are single-piece concrete benches weighing 350 and 370 kg respectively. The Mansilla sheet advises placing it facing the garden rather than against a wall, leaving at least 60 cm free behind so the curve of the backrest shows.

Monumental bench for heavy use

The Pradillo bench measures 200 × 70 × 45 cm and weighs 545 kg. Its 70 cm deep seat allows sitting on both sides if it is placed freestanding in the middle of the space. It is delivered with unloading by mechanical means.

Placing and maintenance

The sheets describe an installation without building work: the bench is set on a firm, level base. Because the concrete needs no varnish or treatments, there is nothing to reapply. If the bench is going into a public space, its location, base and conditions of use should be defined by the project technician or the person responsible for the space.
